Bridging Creative Therapies Consultancy (BCTC) was established in 2011 by Dr Lynne Souter-Anderson. BCTC, formerly known as the Bridging Counselling Consultancy was created in 1994 and initially provided counselling for children, adolescents, adults and couples.
Acknowledged for its professional services within several years the Consultancy, expanded to include training and facilitation of group work with teachers, therapeutic practitioners and qualified counsellors. Delivery of courses mainly took place within East Anglia, UK, these being offered at a variety of educational venues including professional development centres.
By 1999, the Consultancy was integrating the creative therapies within all programmes of study, these being taught by experienced and highly skilled therapeutic practitioners. Courses were intended as both personal and professional development.
Delivering innovative creative arts programmes of study that are recognised as high calibre, continuous professional development by members in the therapy professions, has meant that Bridging Creative Therapies Consultancy is now a firmly, long established, independent provider of advanced level workshops and courses.
Today, BCTC continues to provide individual and couple therapy in specialist modalities, namely;
